The food hear is exceptionally tasty in a pleasant surrounding with very sociable staff talking chinese and english. It also holds private functions which are always well attended with harpists, briazilian guitar players,
dancers and african drummers to name just a few. The restraunt holds about 70 people and is always busy.
They have a wide range of chinese foods supplied by local traders, very delicious and in a quiet surroundings with background music. It is also a takeaway and delivers all around the Llanelli area and beyond. They also
have a variety of beers wines and spirits including chinese beers. They cater for individuals and also large bookings and always a popular choice.

This place has now been renamed as Yeung Shing House by the owners and was formerly known as the Ginger Tree. This place is a Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway situated slightly off the centre of town. It looks quite small from the front facade but inside is quite large and spacious, almost a Tardis like effect. The place is subtely lit with low lights & candles and decorated modern but tastefully in style. The background music creates a slightly surreal atmosphere as it is a blend of jazz, blues & lounge music and creates a chilled out effect. The menu itself is quite comprehensive with a mixture of old favourites like chow meins and chop sueys, vegetarian & side dishes, curries, cantonese & szechuan dishes plus less familiar dishes i.e. Yee Hon Beef (which I tried & is quite a nice beef dish with mixed peppers and onions in a chilli & sesame sauce). There are set dinners available for numbers 2 to 4 in size as oppose to buying individual dishes. Had a birthday celebration here with my family, there were six of us and we ordered six main dishes, 3 side dishes plus a round of drinks which came to £60 (or £10 a head if you prefer) which gives you some indication of the price range. Tiger Beer is available for the more discerning palate in addition to regular brand lagers & soft drinks. The service is prompt, curteous & efficient. Well worth a visit for the Oriental food lover.
